How many times have you glanced over at your phone only to see that little red notification next to your email icon? Too many to count.
How many times do you stop what you are doing to check it out? Again, too many to count.
How many times has that email been absolutely critical in that moment? Maybe once.

I’m turning instant notification OFF for my email for 1 full week, as a part of my learnings from Zen to Done (currently on chapter 8).

I’ll let you know if my plans to change the world are hindered by this bold move.

i was tasked with redesigning the manage your reservation and cancel your reservation page. users found the previous versions confusing and often ended up calling customer service as a result. re-imagining the manage your stay process flow led to a simplified layout with specific task oriented functions.

ihg has always offered packages to their customers, however, the packages were previously listed with the many other rates that the ihg brand offers. in order to highlight packages, we created a new page specifically for this purpose. the new page offers both hotel specific and ihg brand packages. conversion on packages is up 10% since launch.
